Back to Workforce

Rested for abt half a year..I did enjoyed my time off..but towards the end, I started to get bored..cos as a property advisor, the bz period is only weekend...i idle alot during weekdays...hurhur

And i cant spend like how I used to last time, (No spending power! ) and kirs is well taken care off even wout me..
Wanted to look for jobs in different trade, but NONE called me up! Kaoz... Back to old bizness then..I've joined Daikin as Sales Engineer. (hello ION here i come! I can shop n shop again!)

Anyway it sets me tinking...When Kirs is gog for her degree or diploma, Shld she go for a general one like marketing and bizness (cos she can go to any trade that she has passion for) or a specialised one like engineering, accountancy etc (may = to more pay). So it means she must have a goal before deciding. If she have none, then better to get a general degree, but if she have interest in a specialised field, it'll be a bonus! Or else she'll be stuck in a job w no passion...

Okay, I was offered the day after i went for the interview! Cool! I believe my Kirsten is my lucky charm..yeah! time to wrk hard.....

2nd year Wedding Anni

Its 8th Oct! Our 2nd year after officially saying the vows....

Aww... so many have changes over the 2 years...i miss the old me and him...
Review for the past 2 years...
1. Of course most importantly, we have our lil baby..
2. Rie has got a 8-5 job thou he is still investing in Newton's stall
3. I haven been working for half a year.
4. Both our figures are changed drastically...hurhur
5. My parents lived w us now n we've gt a maid.
6. Hve been thru ups n downs, but our priorities are still the same. Family always come first.
Anyway....he's wrking and super bz on that thursday, so i planned a simple nite out. We watched The Ugly Truth @ GV Vivo's gold class
Had our dinner @ Sushi Tei.
The Gold Class is truly a nice experience..so classy n grandeur..makes us feel so VIPed... Both of us love it but then again it is quite ex. $28 for a tic and the wine, drinks and food u order is nt included. For the one time experience, its worthwhile...
The Ugly Truth is a hilarious adult themed love story..I love it..I guess its suitable for a romantic nite out.
The Lounge area
My date for the nite....
Oh btw he said he wanted to surprise me w a bouquet of tuilips..but then turn dwn the idea cos he knows i'm nt dat a flower person n the flowers will go to waste....so i choose a top and forced him to get it for my pressie..hehe...
then we went to the Marina Barrage........he was quite tired by then, so the stroll was a quick one..

It was a pleasant nite out..hopefully next yr Ke En may be able to celebrate it w us...

Lantern Fest 09

Suppose this yr we r holding the celebration @ our place...but last min change in decision, we proceeded to Joey& Aggies's instead!

It was pouring the whole day! Luckily by late evening, the rain ceased. Hada group dinner @ Urban Spoon. A new bistro @ Jalan Kayu, nice set up and a good place to chill. But the food takes terribly long to serve..but i reckon they made it up by giving us a 10% discount (i.e if i rem correctly, cos i'm not the one footing the bill! opps..) U can check out the reviews of the place in FB.

After which we proceeded to J's Crib.... showing off our lanterns and some rounds of mooncakes n oolongs...we went to the playground to play, reminisciencing the childhood years.....

Look @ daddy with his lantern! he won the contest! (as the music is super techno kind, it impressed most of us..hahaha)

Taurus Parent, Scorpio Parent

The need for security
The two of you seem quite different on the surface, but you both have a strong need for security and this will be the prime motivation in the way you parent together. Not just financial security, either, although that will be important. You both strive to form deep, stable relationships with your children, and here is where you'll find the emotional security you seek.

The Taurus parent is much easier to read. You're simple, straightforward and earthy. Your love of nature and the great outdoors can't be denied, so you'll be the one to organise picnics and bike rides.
The Scorpio mum or dad is more of a mystery, private and closed. Be clear about your feelings and expectations so your children have a clue as to what you want from them. Otherwise, they'll be shooting in the dark to please you.

Taurus Parent, Gemini Child

Different energies
Your little Gemini is a whirlwind of energetic curiosity. First he's here, then he's there, and everything he sees delights him. What a happy, bright-eyed child. And how tiring it can be to keep up with him! Yes, you're both good-natured, but you are mellow and inclined toward simple pleasures, while your Gemini child is quick-witted and has a short attention span. Some of your favourite activities, such as long naps and leisurely meals, bore restless little Gemini. But when you're both feeling playful, you have a wonderful time together. Your little one loves visiting friends and taking short trips to interesting places like the library. You're a wonderful grounding influence for your child, but do let him explore life at his own quick pace. He needs the stimulation of new ideas and experiences.

Scorpio Parent, Gemini Child

Making the adjustment
You and your Gemini child could hardly be more different, so you'll need to make some changes. Communication is where your little one comes into her own, so she might fill in the gaps in that area, but you must try to be open, accepting and accessible to her. She doesn't need the level of closeness that you do, but don't let that hurt your feelings. Instead of being very emotional, your little Gemini thrives on independence and mental stimulation. Give her plenty of toys, books and puzzles, and don't worry when she wants to play with every child in the park. That's just her lively, curious nature at work. Draw upon your own steady, self-aware side to let your child learn in a way that's best for her. Then you can be there whenever she needs a bit of emotional support.

Fever + Haircut

She was having slight fever during the past few days...no appetite... keep salivating..wonder isit due to teething? hmm..Poor baby..

Then I feel her hair's keep gettin in the way...irritating her eyes..so brought her to Waipo's fren salon for a cut..

And the finished look, Ahh..looks like a blur ah boy..hehe
