Its gonna be a year! Time flies! Remember last year this time, me n rie were checking into TMC ward..I was induced and the contractions were there but bearable...Now here I am, blogging abt her progress...=)

Milestones of her 1 yr......

a) Motor Skills

1. Able to crawl with ease n speed.

2. Stand a few seconds and walk a few steps b4 collapsing to our chest.

3. Wriggle her lil butt n legs down 1st n get off the bed.

b) Vocab & body language

1. Papa all day long

2. Mama sometimes
3. Knows wats bear bear, hello kitty, hug hug, bao bao(carry), kiss kiss, da da (beat beat), orh orh (sleep), milk milk, Kirsten, mei mei (lil sister), Kakak (maid), mum mum (food)
4. Wave good bye

5. Do twinkle lil stars

6. Do flying kisses but half way (jus put her palm to her lips n refuse to blow the kisses out)

7. Throw things everywhere

8. Pick up titbits n eat

9. Point to places she wana go or things she want

10. Shake her head when she doesn't want

11. Do the "uh-oh" sign (point finger n shake up n down)

12. Mimick us using the hp

13. Drink with straw

14. Do high 5

15. Shake hands

16.Wait sign

Over the weekend, we attended Sermaine's 1st yr party and also celebrated Kirs's on Sunday.

Met up Linda & Cavis for dinner on last thurs, cos Auntie Linda wana pass Kirs her bday angbao.....She's carrying lil L'dric, and this mummy is super pantang, haha so I understand where she's coming fr when she said she's nt attending the party....

We had dinner at Shokudo in Bugis Junction and then went on a GSS rampage....lol...

My 2 lil girls r truly blessed..they have a super doting godma. No matter how I chided her, this Cavis still splurge on em. So Cavis, if u r reading this...pls hor, dun spend so much again ok? Kids cannot be spoilt, we will give em gifts only as a reward or on special occasion k? haha I know its hard, cos its simply irresistable! Girls jus have so many cute n pretty stuffs....

OK...this time round Cavis is forgiven, cos the gifts are for Kirs 1st bday and Klaire's welcome pressies...Arigato godma and Auntie Linda, on behalf of the still dunno wat she toking Kirs and dunno who she look like Klaire..

Cavis went crazy in Sanrio store in 313 on Wed...She went shopping alone & bought a Kitty for Kirs and Melody for Klaire. A milk powder container for the gers and a jumper fr Fox. There's also a magic ward for Kirs party! Mummy also have a maternity pressie too! A kitty pillow~ lol

Mummy's more sane...lol.. Bought a kitty passport holder for Kirs and melody water bottle for meimei. Seems like My Melody is assigned to Klaire?

                                       

All about Shoes.........

Coming to a year! Kirs can finally wear shoes soon.... Chinese traditions says dat kids dat haven rch a yr old cannot wear shoes.(i dunno y) So it was socks for her all the way till now..

Again chinese traditions says that Wai Pos must buy a pair of shoes for em when they rch their 1st yr ( i dunno y too). So Wai Po bought a pair of Hello K shoes for her to wear on her 1st yr party!

Then a pair of Snow White Mary Jane Crocs that Mummy bought a few months back at a sale! Seems pretty big for her now...

This pair of pink Cerisi is the 1st pair of shoes that she owned. A Xmas pressie fr Auntie Reyna..Jus nice for her now..even though its L size..her feet pretty big..wears size 13.5..

Okay...this is out of point...But I'm pretty happy w my buys! So much so that I wana share it... 3 Hello K memo pads that I bought! So cute neh....like cheque books...

Klaire's 1st gift fr Momma, Kir's 1st bday gift fr Auntie Doreen!

Met Reen for dinner today...she wanted to pass me Kirs's bday pressie in advance in case she needed to make an exchange or Kirs darling can wear it on her Bday.....

Also I recieved the 1st gift fr me to Klaire in the post today!..so extremely happy n excited..weird Momma...I think its a phase...I rem like a yr ago, I'm also super excited with all the baby shopping for Kirs and also I'm meeting frens for tea n dinner much more frequently! haha ....reminiscene....

A customized beanie pillow in lilac..yes, dat will be her theme color. Jiejie is pink (mummy's fav color) and she's purple (daddy's fav color)

P.S : Blogspot must have heard my woes! I was complaining abt how tedious it was for me to blog cos it takes donkey yrs to upload the pix and once uploaded, the alignment of my paragraphs always go haywired! Now, dunno how come the format changed! uploading pics are a breeze and my paragraphs stays where it is!Weee~~~~~ U can see me v freq in blogspot now~! lol

Reunion.....

Had a really enjoyable evening with Vani and Yiru. We were yakking away & catching up..
Last seen them at my wedding which was like 3 yrs ago in 2007 and we din have the chance to have a good chat. Imagine now I've Kirs & carrying Klaire! Gosh...time really flies.......

Vani is happily married with 2 lovely boys (my gynae was intro by her!) and Yiru is planning her marriage w her fiance...Everybody is busy with our own stuffs, but we promise to do this kinda meet ups more often. It will really be a waste to let the frenship die on us....

As you can see, I'm not a racist and will bring up my daughters to not to be 1 .. I've bestie fr diff ethnic grp and there's still a couple more malay gers that were not present. Thanks FB for letting us find each other and coordinate this meet up~

Brought Kirs to shop for her party stuffs with Godma Cavis last weekend...Yes! Cavis will be the Godma of my 2 daughters....sweet!

Then recieved the stickers I ordered! Last yr I did Kirsten's and West's...this yr I added Klaire's and Mine! Oh and I celebrated my very 1st Mother's day this yr! Lol....nothing fanciful, jus a big hug hug fr my daughter and wet kisses early in the morning! teeheehee...and after she did dat, my mum came in my room. And I gave her my big hug too! no wet kisses thou....=)

FRIDAY

It was a 1st time for moi! the 1st time to bring Kirs out all by myself, wout the help of Rini. I met the gers at Vivo for a lunch and quick shopping.....

And i bot a Bhumbo seat for her..wanted the pink one..but OOS..zzzx This pic is cute! look at Fifi trying to be captured in too!

SATURDAY

Brought Kirs & Rini to Holland Drive, for a dinner and mj session with the sistas n bros....Check out the mother n child in our Bintang singlet...heehee

SUNDAY
Its Hari Raya Puasa and we brought Rini out to jalan jalan ..off to Geylang Serai, Esplanade and Marina Sq.

MONDAY
Wanted to bring Kirs out with Shelly n Brendon to Marina Barrage..but she is too cranky. In the end drop the idea...

The kids r so happy playing with the water...Marina Barrage is indeed a nice place for family outings...Theres fountains for the kids to get wet in, kite flying space and awesome view...shall check it out w rie at nite. I tink the ambience shld be romantic n peaceful....sweet..

and i went back to Marina Sq to splurge again..bot a rocker cum walker for her..damn love it..hope she loves it too!

Latest update..I've stop breastfeeding at 3.5 mths. Kirsten's behaviour is horrendous this week! keep crying n crying, fussing n fussing. Dun wana drink milk, dun wana slp, dun wana lie dwn. Only wants pple to carry..n mind u ..in vertical position only! lil terror! i hope its a passing phase n all will be well soon.......
