Gigi and Lexter's actual day ceremony.

Alright, my sis finally got hitched. LOL.. Today they held the customary ceremony bcos of the need to do it within 100 days of the passing of my granny.

We got up at wee hours in the morning like 5! So very tired. My Kirsten had a rough night of bad dreams, so she was listless n puffied eyes.  Klaire was enthusiastic but yawned several times on the car ride to Marcus jiujiu house...

It was a day of waiting. After the bride left the house to the groom place, which was in JB, we packed up and left for their place to wait for the buffet. After many hrs of waiting, the couple finally came bk at 3+pm. Imagine our agony.......

Alas..all was worthwhile. Glad to see my sister getting happily married. Glad to welcome a new family member and we hope to see a lil one soon. keke.


At night, we brought Klaire to Woody Family café at Andrew road for our pre Anniversary dinner. Soon on the 8th, we will be into our 6th yr of marriage. I hope we have many beautiful memories to come. We will go for a staycation on the 15th for joint celebration of Rie's bday and our anni.


In trying my best to recall and update what I have missed posting. In summary of 2012 & early 2013

1. Vday 2012, we had dinner at a café in Bedok North and then went to spa at Spa Lifestyle.
2. My birthday and paktor Anniversary staycation in OCC.
3. We brought a 3 bedder condo in Sengkang. Riversound
4. Celebrated Kirs bday in school and home and went to Underwater World.
5. Celebrated Klaire bday at home and went to Zoo.
6. Our first family holiday trip to Goldcoast! Klaire 1st ride in aeroplane.
7. I think we celebrated 5th yr wedding anni and Rie's bday by going to the G Spa for a full day facilities.
8. We went to Lego land and Kitty land with all the yi paos and cousins and stayed a night in JB!
9. Celebrated Xmas at Ritz Carlton Staycation.
10. I bought a Nissan Latio.
11. Vday 2013 coincide w CNY, so we did not celebrate. I got a Celine mini luggage and Ferragamo shoes from Rie.
12. My birthday and paktor Anniversary holiday in Manchester.


I tink I have more or less cover most. Will update this post once I upload the pics.

Recollecting 2011 - Rie's Birthday (24/10/11)

Prior to his birthday we had a short weekend trip to KL with the sisters and bros.

On his actual day, we made Daddy a cake! Our very own design...LOL

Again, we went to USS with Cavis, Jiahe, Xinrong and Muiling to spend his 32nd Birthday!

Recollecting 2012 - Our Anniversary and my birthday

Age is catching up and the memory is failing. I always have to rake my brains real hard to recollect what we did the previous year or the year before last. So I gather blogging is the best way to remember all the beautiful memories.

2012 Anniversary - I was not in town. On a business trip to Sri Lanka so we miss celebrating on the 25th April.  Celebrated my birthday in Orchid Country Club and we book a family room for 2 nights stay. My mum stayed over with us and my siblings came over for a cake and some bowling.

And I really cant recall what we did and did we celebrate on the 8/10/12 which is our wedding anniversary? Memory failing with a capital F!

Klaire is 3!

Lil princess is 3! She's super excited about it cos this is the 1st time she is having a classroom party.

The theme for her house party with the relatives is of cos her favourite Hello Kitty and classroom theme is Doraemon. I ordered 2 rainbow cakes for her from Bakeajoy (She did a hello kitty cake for Kirsten's 3rd birthday classroom party).

Indeed Klaire is a happy girl until Daddy showed up in the Doraemon mascot suit! (We borrowed the suit from Lexter cos he loan it for his proposal to Gigi! Such great timing!) The kids were overjoyed!Only Klaire was sobbing as she was afraid. Then we have to call off the idea of wearing the suit to class..lol

What's more? We had a bonus! Klaire's pic was in the headine news in the chinese paper on her birthday! Isn't this pure coincidence beautiful?

Kirsten is 4! Mummy is 3*!

The theme for Missy Pumpkin this year is everything Princessy!

We ordered a big No 4 cake with tiara and ward for her school celebration and DIY the goodie bags with princess stickers and crafts. The Ks participated by filling up the bags with their allocated candies, stationaries, biscuits and chocolates

Kirs is shy when the focus is on her. She must have felt uneasy. She wasn't smiling to the camera. She is fiddling with her hands when the children were singing the birthday song. And she did not blow the candle. Klaire blew on her behalf and cut the cake together with her! well, thats Kirs for you....When asked her if she enjoyed and liked it. She nodded her head and said "Yes"

Actual day celebration is at home with all the paternal relatives.
Again, a princess cake which she chose herself. This time round she was much at ease. We bought the Ks bicycles as their presents. They were joyous! Now they wana go cycling everyday......

 

 

 

  

On a side note....My birthday celebration was a simple one with a movie and cake cutting ceremony. As the years goes by...you dun make such a big fuss anymore...Oh damn, Im getting oldish....

 

Klaire's 1st Bday~

This time we bring the party out of our house. We booked a chalet at Aloha Loyang (via Paul's help). I thought it would be easier, with lesser things to clear as it is not my hse..(wicked laugh), but I was so totally wrong. It was even more hectic..there's tons of things to bring.

1. BBQ stuffs (we book 2 nites and 1st nite was a gathering for frens)

2. Babies' stuffs

3. Our stuffs

4. Birthday stuffs

5. Making trips to n from home as I would rather the kids to have a proper bath n nap at hm.

Klaire wasn't in the best of health. She was running a temp the night before the party which explained y i insisted to bring her home prior to the party. Poor bday girl.. the overnight stay outside of home must have made her feel uneasy. My new helper fell sick too after the event..(how great is dat?)

Overall the event was very successful! With too much to eat and drink.(phew luckily!) keke..Kudos to my lovely bro and sis, JH and Cavis, who helped me in tons of logistics which i couldnt attend to as I have to look after the kids.

Klaire's Lunar Birthday

I tried to keep it the same as Kirsten. To avoid unfairness. Haha.
Klaire is lunar 1 on 1/8/11(2/7/11) and we prepared chicken drumstick, egg and mee sua for her to feast on!
Unlike Kirs, Klaire is a glutton.lol she loves to eat..about anything!

I used a calculator instead of abacus, a $50 note instead of $10 note and I forgot the pen...
So, Klaire might be in the FnB line or lead a prospeous life as a fashion designer or tailor. LOL
