Gigi and Lexter's actual day ceremony.

Alright, my sis finally got hitched. LOL.. Today they held the customary ceremony bcos of the need to do it within 100 days of the passing of my granny.

We got up at wee hours in the morning like 5! So very tired. My Kirsten had a rough night of bad dreams, so she was listless n puffied eyes.  Klaire was enthusiastic but yawned several times on the car ride to Marcus jiujiu house...

It was a day of waiting. After the bride left the house to the groom place, which was in JB, we packed up and left for their place to wait for the buffet. After many hrs of waiting, the couple finally came bk at 3+pm. Imagine our agony.......

Alas..all was worthwhile. Glad to see my sister getting happily married. Glad to welcome a new family member and we hope to see a lil one soon. keke.


At night, we brought Klaire to Woody Family café at Andrew road for our pre Anniversary dinner. Soon on the 8th, we will be into our 6th yr of marriage. I hope we have many beautiful memories to come. We will go for a staycation on the 15th for joint celebration of Rie's bday and our anni.


In trying my best to recall and update what I have missed posting. In summary of 2012 & early 2013

1. Vday 2012, we had dinner at a café in Bedok North and then went to spa at Spa Lifestyle.
2. My birthday and paktor Anniversary staycation in OCC.
3. We brought a 3 bedder condo in Sengkang. Riversound
4. Celebrated Kirs bday in school and home and went to Underwater World.
5. Celebrated Klaire bday at home and went to Zoo.
6. Our first family holiday trip to Goldcoast! Klaire 1st ride in aeroplane.
7. I think we celebrated 5th yr wedding anni and Rie's bday by going to the G Spa for a full day facilities.
8. We went to Lego land and Kitty land with all the yi paos and cousins and stayed a night in JB!
9. Celebrated Xmas at Ritz Carlton Staycation.
10. I bought a Nissan Latio.
11. Vday 2013 coincide w CNY, so we did not celebrate. I got a Celine mini luggage and Ferragamo shoes from Rie.
12. My birthday and paktor Anniversary holiday in Manchester.

25th April 2013 - Our 9th year together

This is an update again. Way passed and I'm jotting down for easy reference.

I received a bouquet of beautiful roses in office. Pleasant surprise! (err hem...this is the 2nd time he gave me flowers. I'm not taking the wedding bouquet into consideration. The 1st time was when he was still wooing me and it was my birthday.)

P.S : The content in the card was not from him. It was from the florist template. lol.. He's not a romantic....

We went to Manchester on the 2nd May 2013 together with Vince, Raymond and Eileen. To us it was considered a mini moon and a celebration of my birthday. We went there to watch a big match. Manchester United Vs Chelsea. But alas, Man U was already the champion of the season and they lost this match. Though disappointed that it was a lousy performance, but the ambience and feel was great. This was the last season of Alex Ferguson too, luckily we were able to catch a glimpse of him on the field.
We had fun renting a rover and did some road trips to the country side. Overall a great and different experience!

Recollecting 2012 - Our Anniversary and my birthday

Age is catching up and the memory is failing. I always have to rake my brains real hard to recollect what we did the previous year or the year before last. So I gather blogging is the best way to remember all the beautiful memories.

2012 Anniversary - I was not in town. On a business trip to Sri Lanka so we miss celebrating on the 25th April.  Celebrated my birthday in Orchid Country Club and we book a family room for 2 nights stay. My mum stayed over with us and my siblings came over for a cake and some bowling.

And I really cant recall what we did and did we celebrate on the 8/10/12 which is our wedding anniversary? Memory failing with a capital F!

Recollecting 2011 - Our 4th wedding Anniversary (8/10/11)

We went to the MBS for a night stay~ Children was excited and so m I!

We had fun in the infinity pool and our room has a marvellous view. Children did not stay overnight though. Me and Rie spent some time in the casino and had a fabulous dinner in One Altitude.

I even got a Chanel grand shopping tote from Rie! That was really impromptu... Happiness overflowing!

3rd Year Wedding Anniversary

Opps..As I got a very bad hangover on 8th Oct (Our 3rd yr wedding anniversary) due to the post ROM party of East And Shuxian on the 7th night, we had to postpone our spa treatment to the 17th..I'm sorry Rie!!

I vomited out all my breakfast on the 8th and broke out in cold sweats (Thanks sis Cleo if u r reading this!) lol..very buay lim..wonder isit I'm gettin on in ages or bcos i haven been drinking for so long! Anyways...Seeing me in agony, Rie decided we should jus rest at hm..but feeling rather guilty for my lousiness, I suggested that we watch a movie at midnite (Dectective Dee smething by Andy Lau) when I'm feeling better. Another movie watching! lol ..we watched The Ugly Truth in Gold Class just last yr!...

So on the 17th, we went for the Spa retreat. It was at Aramsa, the Garden Spa. http://www.aramsaspas.com/

Review - Overall the environment is very nice...Very Spatry feel! I like the close to nature concept. Treatment wise, the treatment bed will warm up like a heater! For a start it was nice..but towards the end of the massage, I'm perspiring! Dun really like the perspiring part. Massage was ok..7/10. We redeemed the facial package as well on the same day. Facial to me sucks, cos the facial therapist is like doin everything in a rush and the facial massage has not much pressure at all..Very disappointed on the facial part.. I give it a 3/10. But Rie said his was ok...So overall rating shld be 5/10 for treatment, 8/10 for ambience.

25th April 2010, 6th yrs Anni...

He planned a surprise for me for this Anni..usually I'm the one who likes to plan for the occasion n explore new stuffs...Seeing I'm preggy again and w Kirs on hand, he auto suggest he'll do the planning this yr...Yippee! Can't wait to see what he has in store for me.........

But who knows...."Ren suan bu ru tian suan"...lil pumpkin is sick during this period.....Actually, we did contemplate to call off the whole thing. But well, seeing his efforts gone to waste is so cruel. Luckily on Fri 23rd, her fever has subsided. So we decided to go ahead with the plan and promise to call home n check on her........

24th April Sat, Eve of Anni

We went out early in the morn abt 9 am.......... To Furama Riverfront Hotel.............

Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To bake cakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha..ok, effectively the cakes were not made by us, we r only in charge of decorating the cakes. But its something very new... things that we did tog for the 1st time!


So very proud of our master pieces... Rie's a copycat, I came out with WK 1st, which is our initials not West Khoo but West Kelly. And then he came out with 6 saying that it symbolizes the years.....Crap... so so not innovative..bleah!

Then we had light lunch in the hotel square and after that, check into the executive clubroom, which is the biggest room in the hotel.....Well wishes fr the staffs.....
Damn Chioz!!!! The room is very very spacious and the view overlooks the city...
The design is simple and sexy....with the transparent bathroom....ahahaha..it sets u ahem tinking...*wicked wink...

Dinner at Vivo..we went to the Mussel Guys....

Not too fantastic, we had pumpkin soup, fish n lamb for me and baked rice for him. I forgot the dessert name...kiwi something..

To Haagen Daz for 2nd round.....I had mystique (al choco flavoured ice cream) and he had a oh so boring ice Cafe Mocha...
Then its nuaing time for us...to catch the much needed beauty sleep lost when kirs was sick...
I rate his effort a 8.5! Cannot too high..lol..cos must have some room for improvements!

Down Memory Lane

Yess!!!!! 1 module of CEA down! I passed with 82/100. ok la not bad...finally, I can let loose of my brain..haha..It was congested with all the laws act, definations etc etc just few hours ago!

I feel so relaxed after a loooooong and luxury bath...The lil one is slpin alr when I came home. Shan't disturb her cos I know I hate to be disturb when I'm sleepin, so I will not do the same to her.

I was packing my drawer the other day and found my Sony T5 camera. Havent been using it after I recieved the Lumix as a pressie from Rie on our 1st yr wedding anni. (btw this Sony was also a pressie fr him...duh..always camera... -_-" ... hello smething new can?) ok back to this Sony T5. I was tinking electronics will be spoilt if we dun use it often, so I charged the battery and promise to bring this T5 wherever I go..so as not to miss out any actions or moments. As for the Lumix, I shall use it for occasions and etc cos the megapixel and resolution is better.

So after my luxurious bath, I got the charged battery and insert in the camera. After oning (is there such word?) the T5, Oh man! I found 3 pathetic pix in the memory card that was taken on the day of our wedding anni . We went for a couple spa retreat and after recieving the lumix as pressie, I happily forget about this T5 and our 3 photos...haha

Lil pumpkin was inside me alr at that time....I concieved at late Sep..but didn't know till later...keke

Now looking back...its so sweet...Awww....

2nd year Wedding Anni

Its 8th Oct! Our 2nd year after officially saying the vows....

Aww... so many have changes over the 2 years...i miss the old me and him...
Review for the past 2 years...
1. Of course most importantly, we have our lil baby..
2. Rie has got a 8-5 job thou he is still investing in Newton's stall
3. I haven been working for half a year.
4. Both our figures are changed drastically...hurhur
5. My parents lived w us now n we've gt a maid.
6. Hve been thru ups n downs, but our priorities are still the same. Family always come first.
Anyway....he's wrking and super bz on that thursday, so i planned a simple nite out. We watched The Ugly Truth @ GV Vivo's gold class
Had our dinner @ Sushi Tei.

The Gold Class is truly a nice experience..so classy n grandeur..makes us feel so VIPed... Both of us love it but then again it is quite ex. $28 for a tic and the wine,drinks and food u order is nt included. For the one time experience, its worthwhile...

The Ugly Truth is a hilarious adult themed love story..I love it..I guess its suitable for a romantic nite out.

It was a pleasant nite out..hopefully next yr Ke En may be able to celebrate it w us...
