Reunion.....

Had a really enjoyable evening with Vani and Yiru. We were yakking away & catching up..
Last seen them at my wedding which was like 3 yrs ago in 2007 and we din have the chance to have a good chat. Imagine now I've Kirs & carrying Klaire! Gosh...time really flies.......

Vani is happily married with 2 lovely boys (my gynae was intro by her!) and Yiru is planning her marriage w her fiance...Everybody is busy with our own stuffs, but we promise to do this kinda meet ups more often. It will really be a waste to let the frenship die on us....

As you can see, I'm not a racist and will bring up my daughters to not to be 1 .. I've bestie fr diff ethnic grp and there's still a couple more malay gers that were not present. Thanks FB for letting us find each other and coordinate this meet up~

Brought Kirs to shop for her party stuffs with Godma Cavis last weekend...Yes! Cavis will be the Godma of my 2 daughters....sweet!

Oh and I celebrated my very 1st Mother's day this yr! Lol....nothing fanciful, jus a big hug hug fr my daughter and wet kisses early in the morning! teeheehee...and after she did dat, my mum came in my room. And I gave her my big hug too! no wet kisses thou....=)

3 wonderful ten years!

To reality...gotta embrace the fact that I've hit the big 3.....

Wonderful 30 years indeed, 2nd time preggy on my bday. I say its wonderful 3 ten yrs as I have a happy young lil family of my own..Rie & me, Kirsten & Klaire (yes... decided on Klaire Khoo Ke Er), Fifi & Cash. I'll close production at 30 and fully concentrate on the developments of my 2 princesses. Being a mother changed me a fair bit. I duno how to pen it down, but I guess pple arnd me do feel smehing different. Of cos signs of aging is appearing...gonna slap more of the skincare on my face...boohoohoo..

Oh mine..I've been blogging for a year! I jus read thru my 29th bday entry..hurhur.. Quite an accomplishment yah? Hope I can perservere n able to diligently post on our updates..Hope this diary wun die on me...

Took leave on 30th April itself and had taiwanese porridge at Oasis TPY with the sistas, then cut cake and had a round of mj w em at my plc. Pix w cleo!

Cavis & JH & Rie celebrated and countdown w me on the eve...haha...

We had Teppanyaki in AMK Hub and watch Ip Man 2..fantastic watch!!!!highly recommended!

Kirs had her 1st serious major sickness abt 2 weeks ago....

Probably my bad, cos brought her to TTSH to visit my granny (who had a fall) and rite after the next day she caught the fever. Note to self, nvr to bring pumpkin to hosp again till her immune system is stronger n better...

Went to HongKong Cafe at Northpoint to celebrate 6th Yi Ma's birthday jus a day after her recovery....
look at her grounchy face, not even a kiddy ride can appease her! Seems like we owe her the world! lol...

25th April 2010, 6th yrs Anni...

He planned a surprise for me for this Anni..usually I'm the one who likes to plan for the occasion n explore new stuffs...Seeing I'm preggy again and w Kirs on hand, he auto suggest he'll do the planning this yr...Yippee! Can't wait to see what he has in store for me.........

But who knows...."Ren suan bu ru tian suan"...lil pumpkin is sick during this period.....Actually, we did contemplate to call off the whole thing. But well, seeing his efforts gone to waste is so cruel. Luckily on Fri 23rd, her fever has subsided. So we decided to go ahead with the plan and promise to call home n check on her........

We went out early in the morn abt 9 am.......... To Furama Riverfront Hotel.............

Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To bake cakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha..ok, effectively the cakes were not made by us, we r only in charge of decorating the cakes. But its something very new... things that we did tog for the 1st time!


So very proud of our master pieces... Rie's a copycat, I came out with WK 1st, which is our initials not West Khoo but West Kelly. And then he came out with 6 saying that it symbolizes the years.....Crap... so so not innovative..bleah!

Then we had light lunch in the hotel square and after that, check into the executive clubroom, which is the biggest room in the hotel.....Well wishes fr the staffs.....
Damn Chioz!!!! The room is very very spacious and the view overlooks the city...
The design is simple and sexy....with the transparent bathroom....ahahaha..it sets u ahem tinking...*wicked wink...

Dinner at Vivo..we went to the Mussel Guys....

Not too fantastic, we had pumpkin soup, fish n lamb for me and baked rice for him. I forgot the dessert name...kiwi something..

To Haagen Daz for 2nd round.....I had mystique (al choco flavoured ice cream) and he had a oh so boring ice Cafe Mocha...
Then its nuaing time for us...to catch the much needed beauty sleep lost when kirs was sick...
I rate his effort a 8.5! Cannot too high..lol..cos must have some room for improvements!

Seriously sick for the 1st time!

Poor baby was seriously sick for the 1st time....Hit an ever high temperature of 40C. Got us worried sick. Having a poor appetite and lil sleep..she refuses medicine n cried till her eyes r puffy...
After her fever of 3 days, she broke into rashes n finally after a week of ordeal, she's finally on the road to recovery. Found out the virus is known as Roseola and several frens' babies r suffering fr fever as well.... Hope they recover soon.



About Roseola
Roseola (also known as sixth disease, exanthem subitum, and roseola infantum) is a viral illness in young kids, most commonly affecting those between 6 months and 2 years old. It is usually marked by several days of high fever, followed by a distinctive rash just as the fever breaks.
Two common and closely related viruses can cause roseola: human herpesvirus (HHV) type 6 and possibly type 7. These viruses belong to the same family as the better-known herpes simplex viruses (HSV), but HHV-6 and HHV-7 do not cause the cold sores and genital herpes infections that HSV can cause.

A child with roseola typically develops a mild upper respiratory illness, followed by a high fever (often over 103° F or 39.5° C) for up to a week. During this time, the child may appear fussy or irritable and may have a decreased appetite and swollen lymph nodes (glands) in the neck.
The high fever often ends abruptly, and at about the same time a pinkish-red flat or raised rash appears on the trunk and spreads over the body. The rash's spots blanch (turn white) when you touch them, and individual spots may have a lighter "halo" around them. The rash usually spreads to the neck, face, arms, and legs.
