3rd Year Wedding Anniversary

Opps..As I got a very bad hangover on 8th Oct (Our 3rd yr wedding anniversary) due to the post ROM party of East And Shuxian on the 7th night, we had to postpone our spa treatment to the 17th..I'm sorry Rie!!

I vomited out all my breakfast on the 8th and broke out in cold sweats (Thanks sis Cleo if u r reading this!) lol..very buay lim..wonder isit I'm gettin on in ages or bcos i haven been drinking for so long! Anyways...Seeing me in agony, Rie decided we should jus rest at hm..but feeling rather guilty for my lousiness, I suggested that we watch a movie at midnite (Dectective Dee smething by Andy Lau) when I'm feeling better. Another movie watching! lol ..we watched The Ugly Truth in Gold Class just last yr!...

So on the 17th, we went for the Spa retreat. It was at Aramsa, the Garden Spa. http://www.aramsaspas.com/

Review - Overall the environment is very nice...Very Spatry feel! I like the close to nature concept. Treatment wise, the treatment bed will warm up like a heater! For a start it was nice..but towards the end of the massage, I'm perspiring! Dun really like the perspiring part. Massage was ok..7/10. We redeemed the facial package as well on the same day. Facial to me sucks, cos the facial therapist is like doin everything in a rush and the facial massage has not much pressure at all..Very disappointed on the facial part.. I give it a 3/10. But Rie said his was ok...So overall rating shld be 5/10 for treatment, 8/10 for ambience.

Klaire is 2 mths old...

Finally!! My 2 darlings are recovering from the cough and flu virus...

Last last week was horrendous...Kirs was running a high fever (rch max of 40.4C), having flu and phelgmy cough...Just when her fever was subsiding and returning to her bubbly self, Klaire is down with flu n hacking cough... Very headache for me cos Klaire was only 6 weeks old...

Sleepless nites for myself, my helper and mum....Kirs temp will shoot up at nite and will cry like mad. When give her the med, she will vomit. Imagine giving her 1 type of medicine is torturous enuff..We have to stuff 6 types of diff med to her..Hell! Help and help!

Klaire's med is easier to feed, jus dat she doesnt drink much n sleeps alot..worrying too as milk is only her source of nutrients and we have to wake her up for feed..Seeing her like dat also pains my heart...

Luckily all's over and now on the road to recovery..........!!

The event was held at V Golf (a pub for golf lovers) and the theme is floral or PGA. lol....

Congrats to East and Sian!! Klaire missed out the fun (as she is still sick)...Kirs had a bz time entertaining adults....everybody wans a piece of her..keke...

Goodbye Tissy....Welcome Bimmy!

On the 28th of Sep, we said goodbye to Tissy (our Atis)....SGN 8050X...

Tissy has been a great ride for 4 yrs. Been with us on numerous trips to Genting and JB, moved to our newly wed hm in SK with us, witness our Big day and also the birth of my 2 kids. She never fails us even with the occasional puntured tyres and scratches due to our mishandling and always so thirsty cos we usually refuel only till the very last drop...never once a complain or strike...

I rem I ram into another car's buttock with Tissy's back and caused her bumper to fell...opps..Sorry...

But changes are inevitable.....
So goodbye Tissy...Hope your next owner treats you with love and care like us...and dotes on you even more then us....

And we welcome our new addition...Bimmy...

Motherhood...

I thank god everyday for blessing me with 2 lovely girls and a wonderful husband. I'm truly spoilt rotten by my husband and I in return, gave him my unconditional love...

I've always try to pen down progresses of my lil girls, happy things, happy thoughts and happy occasions in this journal...but of cos under all the colorful facade, there's bound to be unhappiness, fears and tears. As I would like to present this journal to my girls as a gift in the future, I would like them to remember the pleasant things....

I did vent out my frustrations too, guess its the way i let out steam..stifling all the unhappiness inside you will be more hazardous. So writing is a way to destress, (So my girls, pls rem this method as it will also improve your English and writing skills. haha)

Now going into the topic that I wana touch on....I have mixed feelings...

Stepping into motherhood has changed me from a girl to a woman. I have become more responsible n patient. But not 100% responsible and patient.

Sometimes I do fail as a mother, I dun bathe my girls personally, I dun breastfeed totally, I seldom clear their diapers and etc etc..I feel guilty, very.....But I do make it up by reading to them, playing with them and giving them my utmost love and attention when I'm with them. I salute SAHM totally. Their patience is superb! I ever tried to forgo career to focus on kids..but I guess for me, I feel better to be in touch with the workforce, I like to be financially independent or rather.....sad to admit. I dun tink I can face the kids 24/7. I need "me" time and couplehood time, which to a certain extent is consider selfish...

 

So my children...Pls bear in mind that Mummy loves both of you totally. More then anything else in the world. Pls forgive Mummy for not being perfect. Mummy is learning, and ever trying to be the perfect Mummy to both of you in my imperfections...
